Ballet Workshop at Yorktown Stage is returning for its second summer, and we are excited to once again share our passion and expertise in classical ballet with the Yorktown Stage community.
Ballet education benefits dancers of all ages, fostering discipline, musicality, grace, and body awareness while providing a strong technical foundation for all forms of dance.
Workshops A and B are designed for intermediate and advanced dancers ages 9 - 18. These immersive programs focus on developing pure classical
ballet technique while offering a diverse and well-rounded training schedule. Dancers will participate in classes including pointe/pre-pointe, conditioning, male technique, and repertoire, allowing them to strengthen both their artistry and technical skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Workshop A includes a comprehensive schedule designed to support both technical development and artistic growth. Dancers will participate in daily ballet technique classes as well as pointe, conditioning, male technique, and repertoire classes. On the final day of the workshop, families are invited to attend an in-studiodemonstration from 7:00pm-8:00pm where dancers will get the opportunity to perform highlights of what they learned throughout the program.
